Premialab and BlackRock Aladdin Team Up to Boost QIS Access
Premialab and BlackRock's Aladdin platform are partnering to help institutional investors analyze quantitative investment strategies alongside their broader portfolios.
Premialab, described as the leading independent platform for quantitative investment strategies, and BlackRock's Aladdin risk management system announced a partnership aimed at accelerating adoption of quantitative investment strategies, known as QIS, among institutional investors. The collaboration was announced November 2, 2026, from New York and London.
The integration combines Aladdin Risk's portfolio analytics infrastructure with Premialab's QIS data ecosystem, allowing institutional investors to evaluate and manage QIS exposures within the same framework they use for the rest of their holdings. The pairing addresses a longstanding gap for large allocators who have historically struggled to incorporate systematic, rules-based strategies into unified portfolio oversight tools.

QIS products, which package systematic risk premia and factor-based exposures into investable instruments, have grown in popularity among pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and insurers seeking cost-efficient alternatives to traditional active management. By embedding Premialab's QIS intelligence directly into the Aladdin ecosystem — one of the most widely used risk platforms in institutional asset management — the partnership could meaningfully lower barriers for allocators evaluating or scaling systematic strategy exposures. The move reflects broader industry momentum toward consolidating portfolio analytics into single, integrated environments.
